Hybrid Animal

The strongestaspect of my work would have to be the healing of the parts added onto the killer whale. I was able to choose what I wanted to add to the killer whale, then I healed the images to look like a realcreature. An aspect of my work that could be improved on would be actually adding the new animal parts onto the main animal which in this case would be a killer whale. I had to manipulate the dolphins head because the dolphin that I found an image of was to small for the killer whale. Once I manipulated it, I had to set it into place so that it would fit onto the killer whale.

The easiest part of this activity would have been placing the animal parts onto the killer whale. Each layer added onto of the killer whale took some time. In the end I was happy with the positioning of each of the added parts of my hybrid. The most difficult part of this art activity would have been healing the added parts onto the killer whale. The healing tool would either heal to much, heal to little, and it took some time to figure out how to heal the image to how I wanted it.

In this art activity I demonstrated the cloning tools and healing tool. I used the cloning tool to copy the particular animal parts that I wanted to place onto my background animal. I also used 10th cloning tool to copy the texture from the lion and placed it onto the killer whale. I used the healing tool to make the new animal parts look like they are part of the killer whale. It took a few times to get it right, but after awhile I was able to get the new animal parts to look like they were on the killer whale the whole time. If I could do something different with this project, I would choose different animals. I would probably choose a dog, cuttlefish, and a fish.
